I’m delighted to announce that Claudia Kelly – trail runner, mountain enthusiast, and emergency medicine doctor – will be joining this year’s reconnaissance trek.
Claudia brings with her a wealth of experience: she has completed numerous ultramarathons and several high-altitude trekking expeditions, including in the Himalayas, as well as countless hikes across the mountains of her native New Zealand. Her most recent adventure was a cycling expedition through Georgia – proof that she embraces challenges and knows how to combine different ways of traveling with her love for nature.
Beyond sports, Claudia is also developing her professional and academic career. She holds a Master’s degree in Extreme Medicine, merging her medical expertise with a focus on health and survival in extreme environments. While she works daily as an emergency physician, her heart beats strongest when she can put her skills into action in the mountains.
In her free time, Claudia writes and plays music, further showing just how versatile and inspiring she is.
Personally, I couldn’t be happier to welcome Claudia to the RunGHT team. Her energy, experience, and passion will be a tremendous asset during this year’s reconnaissance expedition in the Himalayas. Claudia herself emphasizes that taking part in the GHT project is a source of great joy and excitement for her – and I believe that together we will create something truly exceptional.
